Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC)
Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) is our multi-agency process for increasing the safety of those subject to high-risk domestic abuse.
There are 4 MARACs within Highland: Caithness & Sutherland. Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch & Strathspey. Lochaber. Ross-shire, Skye & Lochalsh.
During MARAC statutory and third sector partners work together by sharing relevant information and developing an action plan with the aim of increasing the safety of the victim. MARAC will also link with other forums to safeguard children and manage the behaviour of the perpetrator.
A copy of the Risk Identification Checklist and the online referral link are included at the bottom of this page along with guides for agencies who are represented at MARAC.
